Dear reader,

If you are anything like me, you are here because you feel a strong sense of moral urgency about the question of homosexuality.

You want to believe that God is love, but of late, you have found it increasingly difficult to reconcile your Christian faith and your human conscience. You have sought answers from theologians, Christian writers, pastors, friends and even family. But you still feel deeply unsure. Though every answer is sincere, they all seem to ultimately fall on one side or the other of an impossible compromise: either we give up our commitment to truth in order to love our LGBTQ friends, or we give up our commitment to love in order to submit to God’s truth.

I wrote this book for you.

A few years ago, I felt the same way. But after years of research and wrestling, I have come to understand that there is, in this case, no need to choose between truth and love. We can – and we must – hold firmly to both. To my surprise, I could find no existing work with answers resembling what I had learned. So I wrote this book to share with you what God has shared with me.
